Corporate identity
1. Logo – the most important visual element that identifies the brand.
2. Colour palette – the chosen colours associated with the brand that convey certain emotions and messages.
3. Typography – the font style used in advertising materials and communication.
Let us start with what we mean by the word identity. Here we are talking about the identity you want to – and will – establish in the minds of your customers and partners, based on the logo you have and the design of the advertising materials you work with (business cards, letterheads, catalogues, etc.). In other words, what a customer who sees your business card for the first time will think. It may seem strange to you, but YES, identity can be conveyed as a perception in this way.
That is why it is not unimportant how all of this will look united under the word identity.
Corporate identity is the sum of all the visual, verbal and behavioural elements that define a company and set it apart from others on the market. It includes not only the company's outward appearance (logos, colour scheme, fonts) but also the culture, values and behaviour the company expresses towards its customers as well as its employees and partners.
In general, a company can find itself in one of two situations.
-
It may be time to update your company's identity.
-
You are launching a new service or an entirely new business that needs a full identity – starting from a logo, through business cards and other necessary materials.
