The design is inspired by the Viking compass Vegvisir – a symbol of protection, guidance and a safe path even in the worst conditions. The graphic takes centre stage and is positioned so that it stays clearly visible both from the sides and from a distance, regardless of the wind direction. The tricky part was that the image had to fit perfectly across the two sails, without the slightest detail being out of line.
